Princeton real estate seems to be very popular outside the United States and Princeton Real Estate Blog has” traveled” quite a bit in the recent months. Of course, I would like to attribute this to my superior content and engaging writing style, but I doubt that international readers discovered the new Shakespeare.
Being a bit cheap economical, I only have a daily record (not cumulative) of these visitors to the blog. Nevertheless, every day, as a traveler at heart, I get to imagine who the people from distant lands could be and why are they reading the Princeton Real Estate Blog. For a few moments each day I get to live vicariously through my blog.
Today, being the weekend, and having just completed a series of “fun” statistical posts, I felt the need for something lighter. What could be better then to look at the international readers as of this morning? Each country had multiple visits, and here is a just a small sample.
1.Unknown – this category is the second largest percentage of visitors every day. I am not sure if these countries did not get a name yet, or on account of my economizing the program doesn’t recognize them. It limits my fantasy opportunity, when I don’t even know the continent, so I
will skip this category.
2. Puerto Rico – they must be looking for a bit more cold, while relocating to the Princeton NJ http://localism.com/article/315898/Princeton-NJ-Real-Estate-Relocating-To
3. Canada – someone wants to know about Princeton NJ real estate prices. I understand that the Canadian real estate is doing well, could they be looking for the reverse investment opportunity?

4. Australia – Fits the seasonal profile of being hot and needing escape. I am beginning to see a trend - when the weather gets hot, the buyers go searching for Princeton real estate.

5.France – given all the excitement surrounding French President Mr. Sarkozy, the Princeton real estate market probably provides some down time for the French.

6. Singapore - I don’t know why people in other countries are interested in dressing like American real estate agent. This post has been viewed probably more then other, especially in Asia. I take it as a compliment to American real estate agents, that other countries want to emulate our dress code. Or are they making sure not to wear what we do?

7. South Africa –same as above

8. Belgium – people would like to know about Hopewell NJ, which is a town next to Princeton. I am not surprised to find people outside US who know Princeton, but Hopewell? It’s very interesting.

9. Russian Federation - looking at the initial URL I can’t figure out how they know about my blog, unless the Active Rain comrades traveled to Moscow and had to check out my blog today.

10. United Kingdom - the search was from Croatia and somehow mislabeled “Unite Kingdom”. Someone was looking for”estate buyer e-mail”, the rest was in Croatian, and so I am not sure what they found

.
My fellow Princetonians, are you as excited as I am, that our area generates so much interest abroad?
My real estate colleagues, are you as excited as I am, that non-Shakespearean writing can attract people as far as China, Russia, and Iraq? I have to admit that I am. How else can I travel, so cheap to so many places in just one afternoon?
