Although I originally promised to update my blog regularly, it seems that was easier said than done. There is a break between the AFC Championship and NFC Championship games that I want to capitalize on by asking for assistance.
Having been in college with the rise of the Facebooknation, I have had the wonderful ability to stay in touch with my friends and family, both during school and after graduating from WVU. One of the fantastic aspects of Facebook is the profile section where the subscriber can allow you to view their e-mail address, phone number, occupation, etc.
Although Myspace was on the rise earlier, it does not allow the subscriber such valuable information as can be provided on Facebook. It is more of a template for a website that can be personalized by pictures, videos, and comments from other subscribers.
First question...What is the best way to market to friends and other subscribers via Myspace? Not having much experience with this website, I find the amount of information provided about the person much more limited than Facebook.
Second question...(similar to the first), other than adding "Friends" from Facebook to one's e-mail list and calling them if they provide their number, how can Facebook be used to create a solid, ever-expanding database.
I hope you all are well and staying warmer than Eli Manning is in Lambeau Field.
All the Best,
Ray
