A question that keeps coming up from people is how can I save money and cut back on costs? Of course we can order off the dollar menu at the local fast food restaurants and buy the generic foods at the supermarkets but where else can we save?

Here is a link to an article online at the Wall Street Journal talking about the dilema people are facing with their cell phone bills.

About 10 months ago I took charge of my overpriced cellphone bill and ended my Verizon contract that had unlimited data, talk and text. All together I was paying about $132 a month. I analyzed my bill and discovered that I was using about 1/2 G of data but paying for unlimited.

A guy had just came in my office to discuss renting my office building next door for his prepaid cellphone service business. I spent alot of time with him and discovered that one of his carriers called Page Plus Cellular actually leases space on the Verizon towers hence my same phone with same phone number would work for a whole lot less.

I went from $132 a month to $55.53 a month and have available about 3-4 times the data I was using before as well as unlimited talk and text. This is prepaid.

I also found out that he also has other prepaid carriers that will work on your AT&T phones(Red Pocket), Sprint phones and T-mobile phones. Here is Tim Runions Dyersburg Cellular website with contact information.

Check out the prepaid carriers on Tim's website. Most if not all will be available to you across the entire country.
