14th Annual Oktoberfest at Charlotte Metrolina Trade Show Expo

Charlotte Oktoberfest 2012 will be held at The Metrolina Tradeshow Expo, located at 7100 Statesville Road.  The festival will be held on the outdoor grass fields and the tents are pitched for an amazing day at the Expo–rain or shine!

Charlotte Oktoberfest will be featuring some of the finest breweries in the world, including a large number from right here in the Southeastern US.  Due to the popularity of the extra sampling hour that comes with the premium ticket, a limited quantity of three different tickets for admission were sold this year.

GENERAL @ $35 + $2.12 fee allows entrance to the festival at 2 PM. **SOLD OUT**
PREMIUM  @ $50 + $1.78 fee allows entrance to the festival at 1 PM. **SOLD OUT**
Designated Driver tickets are $10. + $1.22 fee **SOLD OUT**

Charlotte Oktoberfest has now SOLD OUT as it has in advance for the past 6 years.  Arrangements have made for transportation from the event; 4 taxi companies have dedicated all of their staff to this event!  Over 5,000 people are expected to attend between the hours of 1:00 and 7:00 p.m.  Many of the volunteers who have done this for several years were quick to inform me that this is the ‘Volunteer’s Dream Opportunity’ and I can attest that when I have volunteered for this event, it has indeed, been a fantastic time!

The Carolina BrewMasters have donated tens of thousands of dollars to local charities during the past 14 years of hosting the Charlotte Oktoberfest.  Charlotte’s Meck-South Rotary Club is also proud to participate in this event as the beneficiaries of our work will go to North Carolina children and families beneficiaries of the following local area charities:\

• Beds for Kids
• Crisis Assistance Ministry
• Matthews Free Medical
