William - there are several complexes being built in Carlsbad right now so business seems to be picking up quite a bit. The new homes are selling well in the new subdivisions I have visited.

Endre - hope so to. It's good to see new building and things selling. This site was to have condos on it a number of years ago - perhaps 2006 or 07? - but the builder went bankrupt.

Yes it is becoming more common. There are several builders incorporating green technology into their new homes ande this tends to be pretty popular with buyers. I hope the trend continues and becomes more prevalent.

Bryan - inventory is pretty low and new homes are selling well and have been for some time. There are several new home communities, both condo and detached single family homes and each phase is selling out. Good news.
