It is the Season....Coats for Kids! Can You Help?
The Coats for Kids season is upon us again. This is a blog from Suzanne from last year. But the event is going on now again through October 16th.
You can donate new or gently used children's winter coats. Please wash all coats prior to donating. Winter accessories like gloves/mittens, hats, snow boots or snow pants are also accepted.

Volunteer to sort coats or help parents pick out coats for their kids during the event distribution.
Many organizations are working on finding warmth for kids for the upcoming COLD season, and you can help!

COATS FOR KIDS - October 3-16, 2011
For 26 years, the Coats for Kids program – a joint effort of The Salvation Army and 5 EYEWITNESS NEWS – has provided coats for Twin Cities’ children. More than 285,000 coats and winter accessories have been distributed to Twin Cities’ children through Coats for Kids since the program began.
