The month of October marks my 9th month as a Rainer. I’d be a new-born child if ActiveRain is a mother! Seriously speaking, my journey as a realtor and blogger is filled with many trials - hectic schedules, finding leads, dealing with sometimes difficult-to-handle clients, and battling with occasional writer’s blocks.
To date, I’ve got 1646 profile views – not that big as compared to the monstrous views that AR veterans might have. I have 62, 142 points gathered from blog posts, comments, and other point-bearing activities under the rain.
As per my rankings, I am very happy to see that I’m climbing the leader boards in a quite great pace – not too fast but neither too slow. Presently, I am on the seventh spot for Silver Spring, 38th for Montgomery County, and 125th for Maryland. I know there is so much I’ve got to do to surpass those who are before me. But I am happy to where I am now and climbing just a notch would be a bonus for me. These statistics may not be of value to some, but for me it is. It becomes a measure that I am somehow improving.
I’ve got 163 posts in total ranging from localisms, online marketing tips, and other real-estate related issues. It is quite inspiring to see how some AR members find some of my posts useful. There may be better posts from others, but still I believe that my posts are the best of me.

This has been my 9th month and I am looking forward to my 1st year anniversary, 100 000 points, more featured posts, more views, more clicks, and more friends. It is fun being in the rain!
