12 Comments on Rare Peter Paul Rubens Painting Found in Raleigh, Cary, Apex Area Garage Sale!
How is that for cool? I am sure you didn't have to pay the real price tag...you gonna get it appraised? Insured? :-)
Craig,
Clearly, that picture is about as rare as hens teeth.
Rich
Craig: You are always abreast of what's moving and shaking in the Raleigh NC area. ;-)
How fortunate you were to find it before some other lucky person grabbed it!
Imagine that!
Craig, now don't you look all comfy-cozy in the arms of that lovely Baroque lady...I could go on, but I won't and I'm sure you're happy about it. Anyway, I myself have been live on Maxwell Street in Chicago many, many times, saw lots of street performers...saw Magic Slim once...wish it was still there or at least the way it was back in the 60's early 70's. Nighthawk has got to be a tough one to find.
craig - what a rare find and great collectible.. imagine- they invented plastic so many years ago ...have a great one.
Craig, And why shouldn't you be included in this photo...after all, you are a rare find!
Craig, just thought I'd stop back by and leave you with this little gem...of course you've probably already heard it:
Robert Nighthawk live on Maxwell Street
Kristin - This guy never pays retail! So, yes, of course I didn't pay the real price tag!
Richard - And about a believable as chicken lips!
Anita - That's me! Mr. Informed!
Sharon - Exactly! You have to get up pretty early in the morning to find rarities like this at garage sales!
John - I did! That's how I came up with this blog!
Nick - Magic Slim and the Teardrops! Excellent! That dude can play the Blues!
Gay - Plastic? Plastic? That's a rare carved out of granite Realtor Craig statue she's holding!
Larry & Sheila - Speaking of rare finds...
Ancient Greek Sculpture Found in the Raleigh, Cary, Apex Area!!!
Nick - Well, I could act surprised and tell you that I've never heard that one before, but that just wouldn't be right. But it's obvious from listening to it why I want/ NEED that CD! Great stuff for sure! So soulful.
Well that is reall neat. Enjoy your new found fortune..
