I promised all my readers an update on the foliage, here in the White mountains of New Hampshire. I'm happy to see we are nearing peak color...I believe it will coincide with the Three day weekend come up of Columbus Day.
I stopped by Loon Mountain ski resort today the prior picture...the Gondola is running to take passengers to the top of the mountain where the visibility of the Presidential range is quite breath taking this time of year.
The bridge over to the ski resort offers a nice view of not only the foliage but also of the Pemigewasset river.
The Trails on the South Peak side are showing plenty of color...just awaiting for the white stuff to fly and cover it all up in the winter blanket.
The view from the top of Loon Looking North Towards the Notch is something that you shouldn't miss.
The Dinner Train Goes by my House every Tuesday, Thursday, Saturday and Sunday...it always right on time.
A hike in the Lakes Region should be just about Perfect in a couple of weeks...they are a bit behind their northern neighbors...But from this last shot, you get the idea where the colors are heading .
So if you don't have plans to be in the White Mountains this weekend - make plans soon or miss the show.
I hope you have enjoyed my photo gallery...as much as I enjoyed taking the shots.
