
The Juneau real estate market is starting to get exciting! The last few weeks have seen a huge increase in buyer activity. Even listings that have languished on the market are starting to see significant activity.
Even the Anchorage Daily News is getting the hint. Real estate is local. This morning's paper had an excellent article explaining why Alaska escaped the serious sub-prime problems that plague selected areas "outside".
Interest rates are outstanding! One of my favorite loan originators, Drake Peterson from Alaska Pacific Bank, sent me loan rates a few days ago. I was shocked at how low the rates were:
