This really works and it is free!  Cell phone companies charge us $1.00 up to $1.75 or more for 411 information calls.  Most of us do not carry a telephone directory  in our vehicle, which makes this situation even more of a problem.

When you need to use the 411 information option, simply dial 800-373-3411 (800-FREE 411) without incurring any charge at all!  Program this number into your cell phone and it also works on landlines! You do have to listen to a short advertisement but it is worth the wait.

I save about $10-20 a month using this free service and I know you will too!

Thanks for the tip!  This will save me some money.  Although, one of our phone book companies has started to offer miniature versions of their phone books, just perfect for keeping in the car. They always drop off stacks of them at our office and I make sure to grab a couple, one for each vehicle we own.
