Occupy Trenton

By
Real Estate Agent with Century 21 Lanthorn Real Estate LTD., Trenton, Ontario

We are angry and we're not going to take it any more. It's time something was done about it.

Since the organizers of the Occupy Movements seem to concentrate their efforts on the larger urban centres, it's time people got motivated to start their own Occupy movements in the small towns and rural hinterlands that make up over 99% of this nation's landmass.

I look around me and see that nobody else is coming forward in the Quinte area to get the ball rolling, so it's up to me to start the "Occupy Trenton" Movement. There are many complexities when considering starting an important movement like this, and I really hope I'm up to the task. I pondered long and hard about the hows and whys, but I think it's just easier if I start with the wheres.

This charming 3 bedroom renovated farmhouse was originally built in 1879.

At present, it can be occupied for the price of $169,000.

A large country lot, newer metal roof, newer windows, walls and a great big deck out back. Check out all the details by clicking the Occupy Smithfield link.

You'll spend most of your time occupying the sunroom in this beautiful Barcovan Beach property, looking out over Lake Ontario.

Are you serious? Only $250,000 to legally occupy this beautifully maintained home?

You're darn tooting it's only $250,000, and guess what? The cops won't harass you or chase you out when you legally occupy this home. Occupy Barcovan Beach.

Well, bring along your parents or teenage children and occupy all six bedrooms of this Brighton home that has its own in-law suite. This large home is on a large country lot on the outskirts of town. Catherdral ceilings, hardwood floors and lots of upgrades that won't fit into a small blurb like this.

$235,900 - a real steal, no kidding. Pepper spray is optional. Check out your fabulous opportunity to Occupy Brighton.

This 2 bedroom home on a 1 acre lot would be an ideal home. There's lots of room for your friends to camp on the lawn. This charmer sits very pretty between Wooler and Codrington. You'll need a car, so this will exclude most of you occupiers, but you'll be hard pressed to find a value like this in the area.

$187,500, that's all, and we will even throw in a couple of sleeping bags. Check to see all the amazing features this home has, maybe you'll decide to Occupy Wooler.

So come on Quinte, get off your backsides, it's time to start the Occupy Trenton Movement.

Malcolm - Oh you renegade, you!  I like your idea of "occupy Trenton" a lot more than the Occupy Vancouver movement, which was a pain in the neck and an eyesore.  There sure are some beautiful homes in Trenton to occupy, and without public disturbance!

Haha Janice, I am a radical in conservative's clothing.

Barabara-Jo, the prices here are fantastic, and getting fantasticer all the time.

Sally, I still have no idea what the "Occupy" movement is really about. they have done such a terrible job of PR that I'm beginning to believe they are a bunch of people with nothing better to do.

Thanks Kathy, feel free to start an "Occupy Uxbridge" movement, just don't let Noam Chomsky find out.

Haha Kristin, it's all about real estate.

Hi Ron, it wasn't that hard to alter an existing image on the web, the "paint" program that comes with every computer is capable of quite a bit.

Belinda, yes it is quite easy and there will be no controversy this way.

Thanks Wayne, I could use a few followers.

Hi Leander, it's been a while, good to see you back in the swing of blogging again.

Yolanda, I'd love to get them all occupied with new owners.

Thanks Larry, it is indeed our Thanksgiving this weekend, I'm taking a couple of days off.

Very clever, Malcolm.  Good job!  Let's start a new movement across North America.  Well, maybe just a new twist on old title.
