According to our local statistics, Branson single family homes sales for the 3rd quarter of 2012 was down 6 to 61 single family-built-on-site homes. Market increased in prices though with the highest priced one selling for $639,000 and the lowest priced one selling for around $25,000. The medium price was also up about 15% at 164,000 and that is a sign the market has bottomed out and starting to recover at least for single family home sales. Branson home sellers will be glad to know that only 18 were distress sales so that is about the same as the previous quarter and much less a factor on our local market than last year.
Condos sold totalled 83 units and only 17 were distress sales which is good news for the Branson Real Estate Market too. The prices ranged from $417,000 to $23,000 with a median price of about $80,000. Looks as if the condo market may be turning the corner as well.
