Beginning their music career in Atlanta in August of 1972, the band has played all over the world, recording 12 albums and developing an extremely loyal fan base known as “Banks and Shaners.” The Banks and Shane band is comprised of Banks Burgess on banjo and guitar, Paul Shane on guitar and trombone, Chuck Shane on drums and base, Jim Durand on Electric and acoustic guitars, and are frequently joined by other Atlanta-native musicians who join in to augment the classic Banks and Shane sound.

“The concert will reflect that of a Chastain Park experience in Atlanta,” explains McCuin. “Guests are encouraged to bring picnic baskets, their beverage of choice, blankets and just enjoy an evening under the stars while hearing some excellent music. You can also reserve tables of 8, provided by the merchants of Harmony Crossing that are preset with chairs and tablecloths.”

Tickets to the event can be purchased in advance for $20 through The Village at Harmony Crossing website (www.vharmonycrossing.com) or at Harmony Pet Resort, Farmers and Merchants Bank and Lights of Oconee located in The Village at Harmony Crossing shopping center. You can also reserve a table, set for 8 guests, for $160 for your entire group of friends or family. Tickets will also be sold at the gates for $25 on the day of the event.
