In the Town of Red Hook during September there were 6 single family homes sold.  The price range of the homes sold Fallen leaveswas $89,000 - $420,000 with the oldest home from 1965 and the newest from 2004. In September 2011 in Red Hook there were 5 sales with the most expensive home selling for  $1,321,100.

The average sale this September was $278,417, last September it was  453,280 due to one million dollar sale.  During the month 9 new homes came on the market, ranging in price from $ 199,900 - $849,900.

At the end of the month there was 1 property with an offer and 4 in contract; so October has the potential to have as many sales or better.

If you take a look at the chart below you will notice that the house with an offer and those in contract had days on market exceeding 100 days, yet the  days on market of the homes sold was 81 days.  Which meant newer homes to the market received offers sooner, and this was indeed the case here.

 days.  When compared to last year there were no sales last year same time.

 

Red Hook does not have many townhouses or condos. The Fairways which is a golf course community in Red Hook offers single family detached as well as single family attached (Townhouses) and during September, 1 of the townhouse sold for $317,000, and was listed at $329,000.  This was a 3 bedroom, 2.5 bathroom  1738 square feet unit.
