Some Days a Salad Is the Best Choice

I pulled into a local fast food restaurant today to grab a bite before going to the Building Department in Sacramento. After pulling into the parking lot, I saw this truck park in front. I decided it was a good day to have the salad.

Not today Sally! I think no matter what kind of meat I ordered, it would have look "funny" today.

Most restaurants have regularly scheduled pest maintenance.  If they didn't I think I would be more concerned.

Tom, I think I would of kept on driving, no salad, no sandwich.  Try a new place.  Tell the owner that the guy should of park out back.

I agree with Kathy (#3).  It's a good thing that they have regular pest control.   Now as for fast food, it's probably always better to have a salad instead.   Now if I could just eat more salads myself.

Melissa - I did see the gentleman eating inside, after taking the photo, I still find it humorous.

I have an old cookbook around my house somewhere.  It was given by a friend, as a joke.  It's filled with all kinds of critter recipes - Squirrels, Rabbits, Possum, etc.  As for the salad, I am reminded of a sign in the window of my favorite Thai restaurant.  It reads, "We Serve Vegetarians."  It doesn't say whether they are tasty or not:-)

Tom -- at least you weren't near the restaurant in this article:

http://www.upi.com/Odd_News/2012/10/02/Ky-restaurant-closed-due-to-roadkill/UPI-59961349209057/  where customers were seeing employees wheeling in roadkill.

I think Kathy has the right attitude. The rest of you are just 'reacting'. Even in fun it's a disservice to the restaraunt.

Maybe the guy's just haveng lunch. Its'nt that why you're there?

Good point Robert.

The man was eating inside (#10), and the place seemed very clean and presentable.
