Bees Love Chinese Chive Blossoms
One of the advantages of having Chinese Chives, or garlic chives, in your gardens is that they can be used in your Asian dishes and salads. The late summer blossoms are also very pretty. Use them as under plantings for hosta and the chive blossoms will rise above the hosta and will still be blooming after the hosta blooms are gone. And, as you can see from the photographs, the bees love the Chinese Chive blossoms.
Have a great week with your camera in hand. This photograph was taken in our Kentlands home garden.
