Accountability is not a bad word

Observing or noticing without judgment is the purest definition and execution of accountability. Unfortunately not the experience most of us have had in an accountable context.

Accountability is critical because it creates deadlines, targets, and an opportunity to check in.

It is not an opportunity to feel “wrong” for not doing what you committed to doing, but for you to notice what you did do, what you didn’t do, and most important, what to do different going forward.

Without deadlines and check–ins time moves along and nothing changes.
