Del Ray Annual Art On The Avenue Festival - October 2012

The sun was out in Alexandria VA yesterday, giving us a gentle reminder of summer. It was a great day to take a stroll on around the walkable neighborhood of Del Ray and catch the annual Art on The Avenue festival.  Here's my video of the highlights of the festival!

So much jewelry, so many paintings, and one of my favorites...purses galore! There were also quite a few booths that catered to four-legged friends (aka dogs and cats), including clothing and food dishes. 

The live bands and dancing performers were also in full swing.

Local restaurants were on hand to provide samples and tastings, from Mexican dishes, to pizza and crab cakes!

Thankfully, the weather held, and this annual event was very well attended.
