I had a great time today at the annual Elk Grove Harvest Festival held each year at Elk Grove Regional Park. The Elk Grove Harvest Festival began in 1994 as a small harvest celebration. It has become Elk Grove's largest family festival. In 2011, the Festival attracted an estimated 40,000 guests. This years's theme was Once Upon a Pumpkin and larger than ever! There were rides for children, a petting zoo, crafts, scarecrows, a pumpkin regatta, lots of food and of course, Giant pumpkins. Here is a quick video I put thgether from the photos I took today.
