I see the monument is located in the center of Columbus Circle I was not aware of it. Thanks.
Interesting facts, Mitchell... I never knew Columbus Circle was where distances are measured from. Fun info!
Mitchell,
How creative of New York. I love the idea, Happy Columbus Day! Wishing you a great week ahead. A

Hi Elite (Mark & Tim) It make sense that Columbus circle is named after Christopher Columbus but many people never notice the statue is of Columbus they sit and have lunch at the fountains.
Peggy, I didn't know that either. I thought grand central or time square was used when they say 20 minutes to mid town Manhattan (between 59th and 34th st) Above Columbus circle is the upper West side. We learn something new every day.
Alexandra, Hope you and Ron had a nice day. I wanted to take the day off even the weekend off but it was such a busy weekend and Columbus day. Buyers, buyers buyers, I had a line outside one of my open houses Sunday because I was 5 minutes late because my first open house didn't end on time. Buyers kept coming in the pouring rain.
Hannah, Thanks, hope you enjoyed Columbus day. I don't know why it was a week early this year. My birthday is Oct. 14th and Columbus day was always October 12th.
