How to Write a Business Review in Google Plus...
Bill Gassett wrote a great blog, that is currently featured, about why you should be on Google Plus. I loved this blog. Adding him to my circles, I noticed that he had shared a blog, How to Get Review Cred in G+ Local as a Top Reviewer- As a Business Page. This seemed timely for me because a couple of weeks ago I started leaving reviews for some of my professional peers on their business pages.
Over the weekend, one of those peers contacted me wanting to reciprocate but couldn't figure out how. I went back to Google Plus and I have to say that it took me forever to figure out how I did it. I thought that maybe a tutorial would help my friends and fans.
First, you'll need to decide if you want to write the business review under your personal or professional profile. Log in to whichever account you want to use. If you don't know how to login as your professional page, it's easy. Go to MORE > PAGES > SELECT which PROFESSIONAL PAGE you want to use.
Now, go to MORE > LOCAL
Once you are here, you'll need to put in the city for the business you want to review, then add the business name.
If they have a Google Plus or Places account, they will appear below. Look for the pencil to the right. Click it to write you review.
After you write your review, you'll have the opportunity to share your review with your circles. If you are writing a review of a friend or colleague's business, be sure you tag them in the share. Or, in this case, I like to go here with my friend Juliet, we do a lot of business lunches here, and I thought she also might want to share a review.
