This Saturday, October 13, Woods Humane, is holding its 20th annual Wiggle Waggle Walk, a fun day at Laguna Lake Park. As many as 400 dogs, and their people, take part in a one-mile walk through scenic Laguna Lake Park. People ask everyone they know to sponsor their participation. You can register online or print a registration form and mail or bring it to Woods.
Registration fees:
Individual walker: $15 (includes 1 T-shirt and K9 goodie bag)
Team: $40 (includes 4 t-shirts and K9 goodie bags)
Individual Wiggle Waggle Walkers compete for top pledge earner prizes while walking teams compete for Top Team Prizes and the coveted Woods Cup Trophy! To obtain a paper pledge log form and/or a walker/team information package please email mailto:jmiller@woosdhumane.org
In addition to the walk, there will be contests for the Best costume, and Best costume representing this year’s theme (San Luis Obispo Dogs Got Talent). New this year – this is the contest where anything goes! Does your dog have a special trick or talent? Come out and show our judges what you've got! A prize will also be give for Best in Show.
