When I was a little girl I thought that only boys could be cowboys. I did not realize that being a cowgirl was an option. Sure I played Cowboys and Indians but somehow I just missed the logical thought about that. Today some of the greatest women I know are what I consider tried and true cowgirls with incredible attitude, finesse, class, character and riding & roping skills to boot. Some are career champion rodeo winners (year after year after year) and others are ranchers with the lifestyle of the American West and as we have discovered this year the dependence of Mother Nature to provide much needed moisture.
What does being a cowgirl have to do with real estate? To me the dream of being a cowgirl and growing up to do just that involves being an independent person who makes their own way and lives day in and day out on their work. With most successful real estate agents the same is true. To be successful in this business means being able to fluctuate, roll in the saddle so to speak and go out every day with an attitude of how to do something versus why it cannot or will not work.
Whether you are an aspiring cowboy or cowgirl in this wonderful world of real estate I tip my hat to you. Great real estate agents make a huge difference in the experience buyers and sellers have with their real estate transaction. I appreciate that and hear daily from customers who do as well.
