An Essential To Good Teambuilding

Weakest LinkAs real estate professionals we build our teams around us with Appraisers, settlement companies, Stagers, mortgage professionals, inspectors, other local and national networked agents but we really need to remember

An Essential To Good Teambuilding.

GET RID OF THE WEAKEST LINKS!!!

What I mean by that, do your due diligence when building your team and as you use everyone from lenders to handymen to Credit Repair people and everything in between SEE what happened on a transaction.

Your whole reputation will fall as a professional if your WEAK links let you down. You are only as strong as them.

Great point!  I believe that the weak link in the pic is the 'master lock'

Gary-Weakest link strengthened, continuous improvement-that's the way to get better. That works in most every endeavor.

This is so true. Some managers want to have other that make them look good because they are not as talented as them. Good managers know that the better your team, the better you look.

Gary

A successful real estate transaction is a team effort and the real estate professional guilds the transaction to a successful conclusion.

Good luck and success.

I see a lot of teams disregarding their weakest link thus causing a drop in effectiveness...

I think we should at least improve our weakest link Gary.

For years I ran in a very large foot race in San Francisco, which had a centipede division. A team of runners connected to each other; that team could only be as fast as the slowest runner.

Without a doubt this is great advice, its time well spent to make sure your team is strong from top to bottom.

Gary - so true and I've always subscribed to "You're only as strong as your weakest link." The people you work with represent you and when they fail your clients, you fail your clients.

You are correct. Some people just have to be let go for the "new" one to take their place. Always be open to new ideas.

Gary, so true!  Not everyone is meant to be in real estate, so to bless and release is always a good thing.  I like what #9 Tom said about being a centipede.  Makes sense to me.

Hi Gary,

Great post!

Yes, having a weak link is like having a heavily guarded front yard but leaving the backyard open. How good is that?

Keep up the good work!

Gary, you're right about that. I have a couple of people on my team that I should be looking to replace. They know who they are.

They always say you are only as good as your weakest link.  Either eliminate the link or strengthen it.  I am working on building my team and excited.  :)
