For all the people that counted the BIG BLUE out, here is to you.
Raspberry
. As for the believers, here is to you.
You're The Best!

All in all, it has been a great season for both of these teams. The   started out on a losing streak while the   have done nothing but win. The GIANTS were flying high last night and we finally got to see Eli do What Peyton has done so many times.
No, lets get to the case at hand. Before we get started, just so you know, this is a bias opinion and I do not care if you agree with it our not, it is mine, so there.  Giants

Giants are a team of destiny and will march into Arizona and play the Patriots to the best of the ability. I for one, think that will spell a win for the

Danny boy, you heading out to Glendale for the festivities?  Let me know if you do.  Only 30 minutes from my house.

01/21/2008 05:47 PM by Paul Slaybaugh, Scottsdale AZ Real Estate (Realty Executives)

Uh, thanks for asking that Linda, I wasn't quite sure if Danny was rooting for the Giants or the Patriots.... :)

Jim, it is time to go all the way. Giants

01/21/2008 05:59 PM by Danny Thornton (Home America Mortgage, INC.)

I was soo excited at the game... a litle stressed, a little nervous... you see I am a Bear fan and just can't stand the Cheese Heads (more likely their rude fans)

But I got my revenge this morning... all those obnoxious emails that I got from them on how "great they were" and how bad the Bears were this season were all sent back with comments to them... and the last I checked we beat them twice

GO GIANTS...GO GIANTS...

01/21/2008 06:00 PM by Sterling, Illinois Real Estate- Brian Corwell (RE/MAX Sauk Valley)

Paul, can I sleep on the couch????

Debbie, here is one for you too...Hot Butt

Danny ~ I was looking for this from you this morning - what took you so long?! ; )  It was a great game to watch!  Can't wait for Superbowl!

BTW, I like your new smiley "toy".

Playing keep away from me is not nice.  Not nice at all.

All yours, Danny.  Be prepared for the 5 AM wakeup call from my kid, though.

01/21/2008 06:08 PM by Paul Slaybaugh, Scottsdale AZ Real Estate (Realty Executives)

I love that the kicker got to be a hero after his misses.  And I like Eli.  BUT..........

Kathy, I was going to wait till tomorrow, then in my best REDNECK voice I said, "ferget it, I em writing mine tonite." Here is a great big Big Hug for all the faithful BIG BLUE fans.

Linda, Na-na-na-na

. I can't wait. lol.

01/21/2008 06:16 PM by Danny Thornton (Home America Mortgage, INC.)

As I commented in Jim Ludes blog about the Superbowl...I am a Supporting The Colts Even When On Vacation In Mexico! HUGE COLTS FAN!

I am also an Ole Miss graduate so of course I am pulling for the Giants! Eli has been money and it is going to take a Manning to stop Brady and Co.

01/21/2008 06:24 PM by Rich Dansereau Loan Officer Knoxville TN (Home America Mortgage)

Rich, I am shocked. You left it for the Brady Bunch and did not even use it....

01/21/2008 06:32 PM by Danny Thornton (Home America Mortgage, INC.)

Hey Danny, Congratulations on a great Victory. The Giants have really peaked escpecially after the loss to the Pats in week 17.

The Super Bowl wil be fun. Two weeks and I can't wait. Wish we were going but I don't mind watching it on the TV. either.

01/21/2008 06:35 PM by Jay McGillicuddy~Real Estate Broker (Prudential Verani Realty)

Jay, as much fun as it would be to go, for the price of one beer there I can have 6 here.

01/21/2008 06:45 PM by Danny Thornton (Home America Mortgage, INC.)

They still sell red white and blue beer down there? Pabst Blue Ribbon?

01/21/2008 07:29 PM by Jay McGillicuddy~Real Estate Broker (Prudential Verani Realty)

Jay, if I was drinking Pabst, I could buy a case for what a beer cost at the game.

Marc, I am with you on that one.

01/21/2008 07:55 PM by Danny Thornton (Home America Mortgage, INC.)

Danny....you'll not believe it with the amount of trash I talked about your boys (my "LOCK" to lose to Tampa, etc.).....but I'm behind them all the way. Usually go for the AFC all the way- unless it's Raiders or Chargers, but this time I think Eli and Co. get me as a 2-week bandwagoner.

01/21/2008 09:03 PM by Jim Ludes Grundy/Will County, IL REALTOR (Century 21 Coleman-Hornsby)

To all the Gaints fans congrats, now finish it!

01/21/2008 09:35 PM by David Hood- Realtor Chino Valley (Keller Williams Realty)

Jim, we accept all.

David, that we plan on doing. Here is to the GIANT nation.

01/21/2008 10:07 PM by Danny Thornton (Home America Mortgage, INC.)

Tom Brady walking to his gf's apt with a walking cast on his right foot.

01/21/2008 10:40 PM by Jim Ludes Grundy/Will County, IL REALTOR (Century 21 Coleman-Hornsby)

This should be a great game.  The Giants certainly didn't go down easy the last time and I like the whole rematch angle.  Funny how Boston and New York always end up tangling.

Go Pats!!

01/22/2008 06:47 AM by Martin Abeshaus (ZIPVO)

Well,I am not gonna get in the middle of all this...my allegiance is well known...2 weeks in between is just too long....Congrats to the Giants and their fans....I am sure it will be a great game!

01/22/2008 07:10 AM by BLRGUY(Beach & Luxury Realty Inc)

Jim, it would take hell and highwater to keep Tom away.

Martin, it will truly be a good game.

Rick, LOL. What I appreciate is allegiances. You have to admit, ELI has silenced a lot of his critics so far.

01/22/2008 07:40 AM by Danny Thornton (Home America Mortgage, INC.)

So who do you want to win again?!?  LOL - Just kidding.  I won't tell you that I like the Patriots....

01/22/2008 08:25 AM by James Downing - REALTORĀ® - Washington DC Real Estate (Coldwell Banker Residential Brokerage)

Danny, I will also be cheering for the Giants by virtue of the fact I dislike the Patriots. I think their pass rush and their week 17 matchup will give them a nice advantage. And Eli has been playing lights-out (no INTs all postseason???), so it should be a good game!

Incidentally, do I see you wearing FSU gear in your profile picture? If so, how did you come to like the Giants in NY and the Noles in FL?

Christopher Zabka, Zolve.com

01/22/2008 10:45 AM by Christopher Zabka

The one way he can really silence his critics is beat the Pats in 2 weeks....I am still not big on Eli...but they did somehow get to the dance in spite of that bad start to the season.

01/22/2008 11:40 AM by BLRGUY(Beach & Luxury Realty Inc)

James, and I will not hold it against you.

Christopher, I am a Seminole and have been outed. With that said, I started watching Giants football years ago and never quit.

Rick, you are correct.

01/22/2008 11:45 AM by Danny Thornton (Home America Mortgage, INC.)

One thing we all must remember is that the Brady and Moss were gunning for records in week 17. They also won on the road. The Pats are great at taking away the other teams strength.

Look for this game to be completely different than that of week 17. I see the Pats utilizig Maroney more with three tight ends in for blocking and then that wil open up the ariel attack.

Shutting down Burress will be an interesting feat in itself.

01/22/2008 01:10 PM by Jay McGillicuddy~Real Estate Broker (Prudential Verani Realty)

Jay, shutting down Brandon Jacobs will be a feat too.

01/22/2008 01:26 PM by Danny Thornton (Home America Mortgage, INC.)

Jacobs is averaging 56 yards on 16 carries the last 4 games...3.5 ypc probably isn't scaring Richard Seymour and Wilfork. I think Ahmad Bradshaw poses more of a challenge and that's ALL contingent on Eli getting it to Plax (which they should and will) and Toomer catching the ball...

01/22/2008 07:42 PM by Jim Ludes Grundy/Will County, IL REALTOR (Century 21 Coleman-Hornsby)

Congratulations to your Big Blue making it to the Super Bowl. I was one that thought the Packers would beat them...it wasn't a pretty game, but they did it!

Now we just get to sit around on pins and needles for the next 2 weeks!

Loved the smileys!

01/22/2008 09:08 PM by Cris Burlew, Broker ~ St Pete Beach FL Real Estate (Beach & Luxury Realty, Inc.)

Jay, be nice.

Cris, he is one for you.Patriots

01/23/2008 09:29 AM by Danny Thornton (Home America Mortgage, INC.)

Yeah, I'd hate to have to eat those words that's for sure.

01/23/2008 12:01 PM by Jay McGillicuddy~Real Estate Broker (Prudential Verani Realty)

Yeah, cause I am already going to have to do that.

01/23/2008 12:04 PM by Danny Thornton (Home America Mortgage, INC.)

Tom Brady walking to his gf's apt with a walking cast on his right foot. Any real info on the foot, he Brady really hurt? He sure did not look like himself Sunday.

01/25/2008 09:28 AM by David Hood- Realtor Chino Valley (Keller Williams Realty)

David, Letterman has been tearing this up this whole week.

01/25/2008 10:57 AM by Danny Thornton (Home America Mortgage, INC.)

Jim, I hope he is at 100%. I would hate for someone to use that as an excuse if they lose.

01/25/2008 12:02 PM by Danny Thornton (Home America Mortgage, INC.)

I agree 100% Danny. You never want to cheapen a win.

01/25/2008 12:06 PM by Jim Ludes Grundy/Will County, IL REALTOR (Century 21 Coleman-Hornsby)

Jim, right one. See, we can agree. LOL Wakka Wakka

01/25/2008 12:13 PM by Danny Thornton (Home America Mortgage, INC.)

stranger things DO happen, ya know! I think we agree more than we disagree.....just not as strongly!

01/25/2008 12:40 PM by Jim Ludes Grundy/Will County, IL REALTOR (Century 21 Coleman-Hornsby)

Brady, has a mild high ankle sparain. Remember he also had a sprain when they won their first SB back in '01.

01/25/2008 12:46 PM by Jay McGillicuddy~Real Estate Broker (Prudential Verani Realty)

Jim you are correct.

Jay, you are correct. If he would quit chasing women, then he would not get these injuries.

01/25/2008 12:57 PM by Danny Thornton (Home America Mortgage, INC.)

Danny; This was an incredible post! I am SOOOOOOOO rooting for the Giants - PLEASE GO GIANTS...we in Indy would love nothing better then to see the Pats Loose how wonderful it would be to see them got undefeated all the way until the BIG Game..And at least another Manning made it to the Super-Bowl..Even better how about another Manning to beat Brady and the Pats... GO GIANTS!
