The Bayou Club in Pinellas Park, FL is an upscale, gated golf course community of single family homes, and the biggest of its kind in Central Pinellas. As an example, on a home assessed at $100,000.- taxable value, the small rate increase equals a $16.- higher tax bill for 2013 versus 2012, on a home value of $500,000.- the increase translates to $80.- additional expense for the homeowner.
The Tampa Bay Times reported on this in the Neighborhood News section on Sunday, Semptember 30th. Residents of The Bayou Club that are located in the city limits of Pinellas Park will see the additional income go to the City’s general fund budget.
