Some of Lynda Eisenmann's observations of the wonderful City of Brea, Orange County, CA

  • Brea's the place for people of all ages. The outstanding community center is an outstanding Brea Community Center resource center for our youth, families, seniors and singles. The after school program is perfect for a supervised positive experience. You can find something for everyone here. Summer concerts in the park and the annual Brea Fest are great fun.

Brea's the place with a strong economic base. City residents enjoy a high level of public services rarely found in a community of 39,000. The strong commercial & industrial sectors provide employment opportunities in addition to a solid tax base benefiting s Brea's citizens. We love for other's to shop at the Brea Mall!

Brea's the place for excellence in education. The focus is on quality, consistently scoring above 90% in state & national tests. The state of-the-art Brea-Olinda High School was named a National Blue Ribbon school, one of only 260 schools nationwide with such prestigious honors.

Brea's the place for the arts. The Brea Gallery provides top rated exhibits though out the year. The Curtis Theater offers live performances by local and visiting groups. The Art in Public Places boasts over 120 pieces of sculpture on display around the city for everyone to enjoy.

The "Jumping Deer" displayed is one of the communite's favorites in the North/West Brea neighborhood. It's a popular place for holiday family photos.

Brea's the place to shop. The Brea Mall generates revenues and total sales second only in Orange Co. to South Coast Plaza The new downtown adds additional shopping and dining experiences.. The Edwards Theaters are in the heart of the downtown area.  A Certified Farmer's Market takes place on Tuesdays 4:00-8:00 downtown Brea at the Birch Street Promenade.

Brea's definitely the place to be. You will find Brea has a strong sense of community with big city benefits in a small town at Downtown Breamosphere. Sunset Magazine recently named the City of Brea as one of the best places to live in the western United States.

Lynda,

You bet Brea's the place. I've sure seen the changes since I've been here, more than 30 years!
