Let's Go To Auction! - The Early Years

I remember my first Auction and how bizarre I found it to be. As time passed my knowledge grew and I suddenly understood the power of this sales method. The first Auction I ever attended was when I was a child. It was a weekly shoe auction for overstock or liquidating inventory. An event that resulted in an exciting shoe buying frenzy. Auctioneer calling for bids, buyers waiver their cards, followed by the cry of “Sold”! Over and done within hours. It didn't matter if the shoe was a perfect fit, those ladies were there to buy. Sometimes paying more and sometimes less than anticipated but at the end of the day sales were being made to the satisfaction of the seller and buyer.

Never would I have imaged I would be a part of buying and selling through Auction not to mention the overwhelming amount of merchandise I have seen bought and sold. What was natural for others and of clouded perception for me was becoming clearer. Perception Can Be Deceiving but should not cloud your judgment while making a wise, sound decision. Believe me I get it...

Anyone selling or buying anything including Real Estate should attend an Auction.

They are intriguing, competitive, and fun.  Watch out for those newbies they become experienced bidders in about four auctions. Do you have any thoughts regarding Real Estate Auctions?  I'm looking for a good discussion.
