Here are some of our favorite pumpkin patches:
Lone Pine Farms
At 91909 River Road in Junction City, you'll find haunted and non-haunted corn mazes, hayrides through the pumpkin patch and a full farmers' market with seasonal produce picked fresh every day. Kids will love the cow train ride and feeding the goats! The non-haunted maze runs daily from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m., and the haunted maze runs every Friday through Sunday, 7:30 p.m. to 10 p.m., until October 31. Check out their website for more information: http://www.lonepinefarms.com
Thistledown Farm
Just down the road from Lone Pine Farms, Thistledown Farm offers a pumpkin patch, a fresh apple cider mill and fresh produce including apples, sweet corn, raspberries, blackberries, huckleberries, rhubarb, squash and hazelnuts. The farm is open every day from 9 a.m. to 6 p.m., and is located at 91455 River Road, Junction City. Check their website to see what produce they have today: http://www.thistledownfarms.net
Johnson Farms
They offer a wonderful kid friendly hay maze, face painting area, and a wild hayride with Wild Walt! It is a hayride that you won't forget, where you throw gords at the scarecrows throughout the wild and bumpy hay ride! They also have a store with a wonderful selection of fresh home grown produce. This month they are having a freezer sale on their frozen berries. On the weekends enjoy fresh pumpkin pie! Their hours are Monday -Saturday 10:00am-6:00pm, and Sunday 11:00am-4:00pm. It is located at 89733 Armitage Road, Eugene. Their phone number is 541-343-9594.
