Dinner in the SkyThanks to the dedication and determination of Sarah Martin, Executive Director, and the rest of the Delray Beach Marketing Cooperative,  a 3 year long effort is paying off.  And, as Ms Martin said, it really is more about showing to the rest of the world that Delray Beach is a destination city.... Atlantic Avenue with it’s “On the Ave” events is definitely a dining destination.

BARFF- isn't is unique!  They have weddings up there and all sorts of events.

Sheila- not for someone with a fear of heights.

BarbaraT- I'd hate to get up there then lose my meal, if you know what I mean.

Bobbie- there aren't many spaces left.  It will be interesting to see a video from this event.

Debbie- thankfully I'm not into heights!!!  It would offer a great view though.  Hope you have a splendid weekend.

Scott- I'll be there to take photos, I hope!  Will not be going up!

Janis- interesting that you should ask.  I did read that if you have to excuse yourself, then the whole table is lowered.

Jeffrey- any photos I take will be from the ground!  Hey Orlando is only 3 hours away.. why don't you make reservations!

Kristin- I'm chicken little when it comes to height.  My husband couldn't get me to go up a deer blind.

Jeffrey- it is, isn't it.  Go on the website.. there are all sorts of beautiful shots.

Michael- neither am I!!

Kathy, now that's a novel fund raiser for sure LOL. I don't think it was meant for chickens like me though ;).

Kathy, you always seem to know the coolest stuff!  I would freak out up there and would  not be able to enjoy my meal at all!  But I imagine that people who like that stuff would LOVE it!

Janice- same here.  I don't know if I could enjoy myself.

Alexandra- thank you.  Doesn't this dinner in the sky sound interesting.

Pam- I guess there are people who are a lot more adventurous than I. Have a great weekend.

Wayne- first of all, I cannot ever see myself going 180feet in the sky like that dinner or no dinner. However, I do think it's an exciting experience.

Ginny- I'd not heard of it either.  If you go on the website there are some fascinating pictures.

James- me too.  It looks exciting but a little too high in the sky for me.

Gabe- it's not that far from Martin county!!!
