At MOO, we love to print. And as you may have noticed, we kinda have a thing for Business Cards. But, we’re not the first! So, to help spread the love, we thought we’d create this clever infographic that looks at the evolution of Business Cards – from their origins in 15th Century Japan right through to the modern day developments in card stock and printing techniques.

The Evolution of the Business Card inforgraphic from MOO.COM

*Psst! You can click on the image above to get a closer look.

Your business card is a piece of your professional appearance. After the conversation has ended, your business card is how people remember you. What does your business card say about you?

And since we *love* Business Cards at MOO, we thought we’d offer all ActiveRain members a free 50 pack of Business Cards.

Rebeka, thanks for a very informative post!  I didn't know the Chinese had the first calling cards.

I will bookmark and come back to this when I'm getting low in business cards.  I did read one of the comments that said your cards a tab bit smaller in size.... and this means the card could get lost in the business maze.

I don't want my business card to get lost!

Happy New Year.

I always thought that a business card is an important marketing material. I have two sets: one for mass distribution and one to give someone F2F, so they do remember me:) I also keep those cards that impressed me the most even I don't need that service, yet, i can not allow myself to throw them away~ too cool:)

Hi, Rebeka...just went to the moo.com site. I like the variety of business card choices. I'm getting ready to order new cards since I've changed my primary business phone number. I'm going to look at the card choices more closely tomorrow. Thanks!

Loved the designs - especially the one with the "missing" furniture. Felt a little pricey though, so I have't ordered yet.
