When potential buyers arrive from out of town, I check the calender for local happenings and events and direct them to an enjoyable afternoon or evening. What better way to get to know the area and people better than by attending a local event hosted by local residents?
A Taste of Dixie and Local Bites is a St. George Area Chamber of Commerce event that is taking place this Friday & Saturday, October 12 & 13, 2012 in the heart of downtown St. George at the Townsquare. The Huntsman World Senior Games sporting event is in full swing right now until October 20, 2012!
By attending happenings in the southern Utah area, it allows for get-to-knowability plus your clients will thank you and remember when you sent them out to play!

Jubilee of Trees
Tour a magical wonderland of custom-designed and beautifully-decorated Christmas trees, holiday

Proceeds benefit the charitable purpose of Dixie Regional Medical Center.

Dickens' Christmas Festival
Step back in time! The sights and sounds of 19th Century London come alive at the Spectrum's Dickens'
Christmas Festival in the Dixie Center. The Festival is not just another craft show, but a unique and

Tuachan’s Festival of Lights & Live Nativity Production Thanksgiving thru January 1st
Thousands of twinkling lights greet you as you approach the parking lot of the Tuachan Amphitheater. This annual event takes place every evening except Sunday from Thanksgiving until New Year’s Day at the Tuachan Center for the Arts in Ivins. Enterprise Corn Festival
The Enterprise area is noted for its productive farms and gardens. Excellent corn is grown both
commercially and privately in this area, and the people take pride in their crop. When it's time to harvest, they celebrate at the end of August in the town square with a weekend selling fresh,
succulent corn on the cob, playing games selling crafts, exhibiting quilts and plain old fashioned fun.
SEPTEMBER
Dixie Lions Round-up - Mid September
Join the Lions Club for the annual rodeo celebration at the Sun Bowl in St George. Approved by the
Professional Rodeo Cowboy's Association, this wild weekend extravaganza is held the second
weekend in September. Great entertainment for all.
Santa Clara Swiss Days
On the last Friday and Saturday in September, the small town of Santa Clara celebrates its
Swiss heritage - based on early pioneers that settled the town in 1861. The event offers an array
of events including historical displays, a fun run, craft and food booths, and much more.
