I always like trivia associated with holidays like halloween, the orange and black make a lot of sense.
All fun stuff Ginny. But I think of the candy. That's all! By the way, Vlad was truly a ruthless killer. And he liked blood.

Ginny, fun time of year, and trick or treating will be fun, especially if the weather is nice for the kiddos!

Thanks for giving me an early start Ginny. I'm going to go the traditional route with the turnips and start carving them out now. Scalpel please!

Ginny I have read the history about Halloween before, but I had not heard what the colors or what the jack-o-lantern stood for before

Fun post Ginny. Glad I saw in Kathy's Ah-ha post...it's fun to learn new things about age old traditions and holidays.
Ooooooo! Some fun and interesting facts about Halloween. It's one of my kids' favorite holidays... they've already planned out their costumes. They are 12 and 13 and insist they aren't yet too old to trick or treat.

It's so much fun to learn the story behind the tradition. The colors are symbolic, the story about Jack enlightening ;-)
