11 Comments on Warren County Ohio Foreclosure Update: Sheriff's Sales through 12/17/2012
Liz & Bill, I'm not spitting up coffee at any sales these days. Some sales may be tougher than others and take longer but its so rewarding when it all gets done.
Ellen, That spike into the 50s at first take was a bit disconcerting. Then noticed the 35 sales on tap for 11/12 had went away and confirmed with the Warren County Sheriff's department where they went. Felt much better after that :)
Curious... has Ohio always had weekly foreclosure sales. Just one day a month in all GA counties.
Tammy, As long as I can recall, weekly here other than holidays. With 30-50 per week, I'd suspect going monthly might be a bit overwhelming for the people that handle the auctions and documentation.
Liz and Bill, great foreclosure statistics...very informative and well done!
Liz & Bill I have noticed a spike in our market and there are a lot more BPO requests coming from lenders, I suspect the lenders want to dump some of their inventory before the end of the year!
Goran, Thanks! We try to provide detailed information for our area buyers and sellers.
Endre, Same here, we've seen some big end of year dumps in the past.
Interesting, Liz and Bill. We have DAILY foreclosure sales here in Arizona. Fortunately, like your market, they are DOWN and making up so much less of the total market. Like Endre, I have seen more BPO requests, but the filings are still at a 4 year low.
Juli, Considering the size of our county, if we were in a situation to need daily auctions we'd be HUGE trouble here.
Hi Liz & Bill. Ohio is a judicial state and is one of the few bucking the downward trend across the nation.
Conrad, What makes me nervous is the number of foreclosures exceeds the number actively for sale. The banks are sitting on some inventory and hopefully they're prudent about how it gets released back on the market.
