Matthew House is a shelter in downtown Toronto that welcomes newly arrived refugees to Canada and provides support and settlement assistance that they need to get on their feet in a new and unfamiliar place. As a board member of several years I feel it is an honour to help raise support this year as they continue offering much needed services to refugees in a challenging economic environment.
Matthew House is no stranger to exciting times and big challenges. As a charitable organization, they rely on the generosity of people like you to propel their mission and purpose (they receive no direct government funding). They continue to need strong support as they grow. The Toronto Waterfront Marathon/5k is a great way to offer your support to Matthew House.

Sounds like a lot of fun. Good fun to be had by all and money to a charity as well.
