About once a week, I drive to Orange County and drive right past this horse stable outside of Corona, CA.

 So this week I stopped and took some pictures of the horses at the watering hole.

Everywhere you look, horses everywhere.

While I was there, I felt like I was in a western movie and John Wayne was going to ride up any minute on a horse and say “Howdy Maam”.

Hi David,

Yes nature is so wonderful and I am sure life was simplier and goals were more defined but would I go back if I could.....no way. But I sure like westerns and  John Wayne movies.

Aren't these horses pretty? I especially liked the black and white one at the bottom which is why I featured her.

Hi Joy,

Yes we can find beauty from coast to coast and mother nature gives us a fair shake. I think a lot of people think California is just congested and houses everywhere but this is just between Riverside County and Orange County near the freeway and there are a lot of stables and big farms in that area too. I cannot wait to drive to OC next week and take a look at my pretty horses.

Hi Margaret, Well John never did show up and then I had to go pick someone up at the Irving airport. Can you guess the name of the airport? If you guessed John Wayne, you are right. But....I looked and looked and never saw John Wayne anywhere!
