36 Comments on Shopping for Gourds is like Shopping for Lenders & Houses - OH MY!
Thanks James,
Life is Good because of people just like you! Have a wonderful day!
Sally & David,
I would give 110% to my clients. I don't like bumps and bruises.
I hope the day gives you lots to smile about!
Thanks Roy for the Purple Passion and the bee too! Isn't it lovely!
Have fun and stay healthy!
Toni,
I had fun picking out gourds. I just couldn't stop at one! They are so interesting!!!
I hope you have lots of happiness today.
Debb,
I agree. Lenn is very logical and a great lady, just like you :)
I think it would be fun to build a gourd house, just for fun, perhaps an auction to, to raise money for a worthwhile cause.
Alexandra,
The Farmers Market, which you so cleverly post about frequently is such a great place to visit. I've been looking for property with a buyer in Bedford and I'm lucky that it just so happens to be near the Farmers Market. Who said you can't have business and pleasure? Business... it's always on my mind. So a stop at the Farmer's Market gets those creative juices flowing!
I hope you have a lovely day!
Patricia- As others have said, great analogy. I like gourds that have bumps and character but, prefer my lenders smooth and consistent :) You're so creative!
Patricia, the gourds are all over the map with color, texture, and sizes so similar to all those other categories you identified. Amazing comparisons...
Good Afternoon Patricia, I like the bright color ones with crazy shapoes when it comes to gourds, for homes not so bright and a little smoother is my choice. Have a great Sunday
Patricia, I will never be able to look at a lender again without seeing a gourd. Very clever analogy.
Patricia-I suppose lots of entities could be considered like gourds-doctors, attorneys, accountants, agents, etc.
Hi Patricia,
There are some really good analogy's. Like a pumpkin pie smell in a home. It may smell good but it may be a piece of crap. LOL :-)
Have a great day and week ahead in Flower Mound Texas.
Best, Clint McKie
Hi Patricia,
This is a very creative way to explains the steps involved in purchasing a home.
Well done!!
Patricia, Where did you find that "house of gourds"? That's a perfect photo for this great analogy of the home buying process!
Hello Patricia, I saw your post yesterday and really thought I left a comment, but guess I am just a little disorganized. Love your creativity in how you make the comparison between loans, lenders, agents and houses. Kudos!
What a great post, Patricia! You are correct, it can be a difficult process.
Thanks for the birthday wishes! I really appreciate the thought.
Great anology Patricia!! Just like gourds, looks could be deceiving, the most attractive looking one to the eye may not be the best one.
Patricia, boy you are spot on! Lenders do differ and good to do some homework, or get a referral from a good Realtor!
Patricia, I am with all the other members, what an enjoyable post and analogy. That is the cutest house of gourds. Suggested.
