Fall Chores

Besides turning the clocks BACK when daylight savings time ends, 4 November at 2 AM, there are a few more chores we must think about.

A lot of folks like to cover their central air outside condenser unit, and while many have the inside unit part of their furnace structure some have their AC completely separate from the heating unit, and like to insulate the inside vent in order to prevent heat from going up into the duck-work and then cooling and having a cold draft come down from the ceiling vents during the winter.

 

If you paid a lot for your unit, as I did, you'll want to protect it.

Now is a great time to take care of this if you live in the New York City area.

A job well begun, is half done!
