A Realtors® Adventure in New Home Building-Preserves at Indian Springs
I was going to make this a Speechless Sunday post and just post pictures of how mine and my family's San Antonio TX New Home Construction was going and thought, hey, I can share my San Antonio TX home buying experience with
everyone.
everyone.You see, when I tell you that the time to buy a home in San Antonio TX is Now, I don't just preach it, I practice it! There is absolutely NO better time in history to buy a San Antonio TX home for sale than now. If you can afford it, the interest rates are ridiculously low! In fact, if you already have a home, it's also a terrific time to refinance into a better rate, (and no, I am not talking about a loan modification).
That being said, I (along with my husband), decided it was time to build a home we wanted. and now I get to be in my buyers shoes with respect to new home building. Before anyone gets confused, I have bought a couple of new homes and so the process isn't entirely new for me. I bought my very first new home in Hinesville, GA when I was just a specialist in the Army and had no clue what was going on, and one in Colorado Springs, when I was an NCO in the Army and STILL had no clue what was going on, AND when I got here to San Antonio TX, we bought brand new again, but I was still in the Army and STILL had no idea what was going on. I had hired some great Realtors® in the respective areas and they took me through home buying.
Now I am a Realtor® and I have a tad bit more knowledge under my belt with the San Antonio TX New Home Construction buying process...but that being said, I still get to learn a lot, (post on the way). Additionally, this is a home we are having built from the ground up. Our other homes were, although new, already pretty much built, and this WILL be our last home for a very, very long time, so it's a bit more special to us and needless to say, we are a bit excited :).
After researching every possible area and every possible builder that is available in the Greater San Antonio TX area, my family and I have decided that the San Antonio New Home Subdivision The Preserves at Indian Springs would be home for us. Additionally, we are getting our home built by Village Builders a product of Lennar. We chose Village Builders because of the high standards they have and for the price, what they include in a home is pretty incredible.
That is not to say that Village Builders is the only terrific builder in town..there are plenty of awesome New Home Builders in the Greater San Antonio TX area. It just depends on your taste, style, where you decide to live and personal preferences. With me as your San Antonio TX buyers agent, I can help guide you through that process.
We started with a blank slate and now we are now in the framing part of our home and we can just begin to see our dream taking shape!
Regardless of whether you are buying a home for the first time or the tenth, having a home built from the ground up is exciting and fun to watch the process from start to finish!
