Larry, great post.  I constantly find my self derailed from my plans and really do need to set aside ON TIME.  I love this reminder.  Now, please help me to implement it. 

This a great post I don't think I realized just how much I let the urgent interrupt my important. I will be watching this more closely.

Time blocking is indeed a very critical aspect of our business.  Using our time wisely is the difference between an efficient agent and one just reacting to their day.

I must say Larry, I needed to hear this today. 

I need to work on the important things as diligently as I have in other areas.

I like the thought you expressed of not dealing with stuff on your plate.

Sounds like you are on track with a great balance.  Goals that are written are important but you need to manage your time.  There are many urgent things that are not important.  Many people get sidetracked by the urgent small things that come in.  People who do that risk more of a danger of letting things happen rather than making them happen and they spend too much time working IN their business rather than ON their business.

Larry, thanks for the reminder. I do get side track with the load of business. Personal life does take a back seat for me and personal goals get pushed away.

Larry, congrats on the feature...I try to live by the mantra, never get too busy making a living that you forget to live your life (or something along those lines)  :-)

Folks like me have to first be able to determine the difference betwen the two!!  What urgently important, and what's importantly urgent!  lol~  Great post Larry, feature worthy for sure. :-)

This sounds like a 'note to self'. Good things to remember as sometimes getting busy takes us away from the important issues underneath.

Working on preventing fires from starting in the first place, being proactive, will save you many hours in your week.  That way, when disaster strikes, you can be better prepared with fewer of them to tackle.  Great post.

We just need to keep working towards balence and focus on the important stuff even if something urgent comes up.  I know it is a challenge.  I struggle with it too.  Good Luck to you!

Wow Larry that would take a lot of dicipline for me. I would worry if Seri was cold, hot or someone might try to steal her LOL. Seriously I may try that, now where is my phone

This is a balancing act, as my priority is my existing business base. They have been a tremendous support system and have continued to build a staff to handle the business for many years. It continues to pay dividends.
