Whether you're an experienced cook or do your best to avoid the kitchen, Draeger's is a one-stop shop for all of your food needs. Draeger's grocery department features a huge selection of packages specialty foods imported from all over the world as well as everyday pantry needs.

Draeger's deli offers an extensive line of prepared foods that can be taken home for tonight's dinner. This is not just any deli.  Where else can you get a roasted suckling pig? Or smoked salmon on endive hors d'oeuvre tray? These specialty items must be ordered one day in advance, but where else could you even go to get them? Draeger's ofers over 300 varieties of fine cheese, not only popular international and domestic brands, but exclusive varieties from local suppliers. The wine department includes a great selection of wines from the U.S.A., Europe, and the Southern Hemisphere with over 2,500 labels.. Wine tastings, wine dinners and special educational seminars are offered. Drager's offers custom wedding cakes including consultation and design with on-staff cake designer Marcus Coy.

Blackhawk Plaza Cooking School

Offering demo and hands-on classes, but both require advance registration is required in order that they have the required ingredients ready to go. In a demo class you watch the chef cook and get a taste of everything on the menu. In hands-on classes, you put on an apron, get divided into groups and each group prepares a part of the menu. In addition to the food Draeger's offers class attendees complimentary water, sparkling water, sodas and wine. Two glasses of wine are poured to students 21 and older.

It's recommended that you bring a sweater to the Demo classes which generally last about 2-2.5 hours.  Hands-on classes require proper dress (long pants and closed-toed, rubber-soled shoes) last about 2.5-3 hours
