I'm been meaning to write this for a couple of months...the best laid plans, time gets away from you, you get busy and forget...bla, bla, bla! BETTER LATE THAN NEVER, so THANKS LUCKY :), for taking time to talk to me as a fairly new member member of Active Rain. You time, encouragement, and very nicely telling me I had messed up on a few things, and setting me straight on a few of the edicts of "PROPER ACTIVE RAIN BEHAVIOR" :) :) :). Not only did Lucky :), just not automatically delete a listing I had posted wrong, he left me a message to call him, and that he needed to talk to me. Well talk he did, Lucky :) spent almost an hour teaching, and telling me some things to do differently that would be better for me, and how to change my listing so it could stay on Gena's great group, Listings by address, that he is helping her with now, but he did it while he was on VACATION. I have never been chastised so nicely in my life, and he went on to teach me so many things. He did not have to do that, but on getting to know him better, that's just the kind of guy he is, and I also found out he is one of the top Realtors in the US who sells a ton of Real Estate too. I've since met and talked to a lot of really nice people here and plan to hang around and hopefully I can "Pay It Forward" and help some other person to make them feel as welcome to a group as Lucky :) did me.
This is a great place to express yourself, get good advice, and tips for just about anything, not just Real Estate. Thanks Lucky :), and all the other great fokes I've met here, look forward to many more conversations and lots of learning, and sharing. Liz
PS, Lucky :) I did get that silly feather on my blog "CLUELESS REALTOR", however I picked a very pretty white one, unfortunately I did not think about it was going to be on a white background, OH WELL, I did try, but after the amount of time I spent to finally get it in the sentence of "the phrase, you could have knocked me over with a feather comes to mind", there was NO WAY, I was going to go look for a black one...next time my new friend. Another lesson learned on AR. Still working on remembering to spell check too :)
