Carroll County, MD North Carroll Middle School Food Bank Grand Opening!

Grand Opening of the North Carroll Middle School Food Pantry on Tuesday, October 16th Canned Foodsfrom 4:00 pm to 8:00 pm where you can pick up a few extra grocery items that we hope will assist you and your family. Beginning on Thursday, October 25th the NCMS food pantry will be open to our community every Thursday from 3:30 pm until 5:00 pm.

North Carroll Middle School announced today that they are partnering with the Maryland Food Bank! By working with the Maryland Food Bank we can give assistance to our community through their school food pantry to support our school and community. The NCMS Food Pantry will have dry good items such as cereal, soup, juices, canned fruit, and canned vegetables.

The Maryland Food Bank’s service area includes all of Maryland (except for Prince George’s and Montgomery Counties which are served by the Capital Area Food Bank) including 178,000 Maryland children who do not know where their next meal will come from and 24 % of those served by the Maryland Food Bank must choose between food and medical care.

  • Who: Anyone in the North Carroll Middle School region can go & pick up food for their family, no questions asked.
  • What: Maryland Food Bank will be providing the food for the pantry so please donate if you are able MD Food Bank Virtual Food Drive.
  • Where:2401 Hanover Pike Hampstead, MD 21074 The food pantry at NCMS is located near the gym by the parent pick up. There is an entrance into the building next to the food pantry.
  • When:Grand Opening will be held during conferences on Tuesday October 16th 4-8pm and Thursdays 3:30 - 5 pm beginning Oct. 25th.
  • Why: NCMS wants to support families in the North Carroll Community. Children have a better opportunity to learn and do well in school if there is food at home.
