Adapting To A Changing World

AdaptingI have always been a VERY visual person and this picture WHICH IS NOT Photoshopped actually has goats up a tree. Reminds me of

Adapting To A Changing World.

We need to do that with adapting to young clients habits like with the use of social media and being very mobile with our computing devices and fast response times in business. Nothing like face to face time but technology allows us to LEVERAGE our time in our days.

Anyway background on what could be considered a silly "adapting" photo.

These are some incredible tree climbing goats of Morocco in Northern Africa.

The food is sparse in that region and they have adapted hard as it might look to cimb trees despite being a hoofed animal. These are called Argan trees and the goats are known for climbing up to 30 feet. They traipse across the trees with sure footedness and SURVIVE.

Don't be an old goat, or maybe in this case, an old goat means you accept new ways to move forward in life to carry on. Solutions to changing times are out there. Pay attention to what you need to do and EMBRACE change. Don't fight it. ADAPT and SURVIVE.

This is such great advice. Sometimes those who need to heed is most may not understand how important it is.

Funny picture.  I just wonder how they got up there as they don't have a way to grab a branch.

Oh my!  I wonder how they are able to climb with those hooves and why the limb doesn't break??

Great message, Gary!  And I love the photo of the goats - were you lucky enough to be there and take the photo?  In the reverse mortgage world we sure have had to adapt to a changing world - more than ever before.  Thanks for sharing the reminder and the photo!

Wow! How strong the branches of that tree are! Anyway, it's a very good analogy. We really need to embrace change and adapt to today's technology to attract more clients.

Good morning Gary - great photo, and great analogy. If we insist on being old goats, we won't get any food :)

Gary, great post, & great photo. I've been considering this adaptation a lot, as the younger buyers/sellers have a completely different set of expectations, and we have to remember THEY are the customer.

You are correct on these points.  It's like the old adage, "adapt or die."  We need to keep up with the current technology and blend old school hospitality and customer service.

great picture! Adapt or die... technology and communcation is so moving so fast. It's often hard to keep up, none-the-less, adapting no matter how fast for slow its always a good move.

Gary,

Love that photo!!  I can't imagine a goat climbing a tree.  You are right, though.  We all must learn to adapt to change.  How do you think the many living animals, plants and creatures survived millions of years?  If they didn't adapt to the changes, they wouldn't be here today.

What a great photo Gary, I had no idea that a goat could climb a tree...but evidence suggests that many old goats are moving right into the new technology and learning new tricks skills everyday
