P.G County MD Three bedroom houses on sale for under $90,000
Yesterday I showed my client two of many houses that are on sale for under $90,000 in PG County MD.
First one that I showed was 8634 BINGHAMPTON PL, UPPER MARLBORO, MD 20772. This "Upper Marlboro MD 
Townhouse for sale" at $89,900. It has three bedrooms and one and a half bath with rear deck & fenced in yard. It has some very good potential. The kitchen needs to be redone and some painting. Also some minor repairs needs to be done out front. I was actually surprised because my client liked this one.
Second one was 7709 NORMANDY RD, HYATTSVILLE, MD 20785. This "Hyattsville MD rambler" is for sale at $89,900. This is a semi-detached rambler. It has three bedrooms and one a half bath. This Hyattsville MD Semi-detached rambler has been completely renovated. It has a new HVAC. Updated kitchen with granite counters, stainless steel applicances, new cabinets and ceramic tile floor. Wall to Wall carpeting. Sports and Learning Complex and Metro within walking distance. Seller help with closing available. Everything a PG County MD first time home buyer can ask for.
So what was the problem? Closet. The closets was too small. My client even thought about turning one of the bedrooms into a walk-in closet. But I wouldn't think that would be a good idea because it will turn a three bedroom house into a two bedroom house. And like I told her whenever you buy a house you always want to think about the resale value. Now if this was a "DC Condo for sale",then this wouldn't be an issue.
