Debe Maxwell referred Scott and Aisha to me about two years ago. At that time they did not meet the requirements to get a home loan. We worked together to put them in a position to become eligible and we just closed on their new home!
This isn't the first. Debe and I have worked on multiple transactions, all successful and all closed on time. A lot of this can be attributed to Debe. Debe sets the expectation with her clients before she refers them. She follows up with them consistently.
The agent plays a big role in making sure the financing is in place on time. We have multiple conversations together and with our clients throughout the process. We make sure everything is moving along smoothly and that our customers are happy with the experience. Debe's interaction and guidance to her clients helps ensure we meet our commitments and makes my job much easier.
My own experiences with Active Rain
The quality of the agents and loan officers I have worked with on Active Rain compared to those who are not on Active Rain are measurable.
The key differences:
- Knowledge. AR provides the most up to date real estate and mortgage information, period. Those who engage AR are well versed in industry changes usually ahead of their peers. The loan officer understanding the real estate agents perspectives and vice versa allows for better communication and application.
- Commitment. Making the time despite how busy one is to remain active by blogging and commenting on other blogs is a testament to their commitment to their business and professional relationships.
- Community. Active Rain is a community where relationships are built. This is the icing on the cake. We prefer to work with people we like and engage with on a regular basis. I have often referred to Active Rain as the "Facebook of real estate".
- Accountability. Active Rain members have a lot of power. The power of blogging and the community. A poor or great performance review from another member can significantly impact ones business.
Thank you for the another referral Debe and thank you Active Rain for...well...creating Active Rain!
