Madonna Concert Tickets

When I was little my dad took a construction assignment for a Pier 1 warehouse in California. For spring break that year, the company flew us to southern Cali and I spent time with my fam at Universal Studios, Disney and experiencing a small earthquake for the first time. Pretty memorable for a twister-kind-of-kid from Texas. It's where I French braided my hair by myself for the first time and where I learned my little freckle-faced, red-headed brother could sing a pretty mean Gringo style La Bamba on a gondola swaying above the Alice in Wonderland teacups or something like that. I also finally experienced... a different kind of real estate. Hey. I was 11 and hadn't been outside of my small town between Dallas and Ft. Worth and thought all houses were itty-bitty, brick, ranch-style, 3-2-2s. All alike.

Today in my suburban area of Keller, Texas, with a lot of track and semi-custom homes and even custom homes that still have a ton of similarities, we see the same ol' same ol' a lot. Houses take on style just like clothes and on occasion it's like showing up to prom in the same dress -- it happens! Don't get me wrong! Our custom builders here are awesome! And you do on occasion get a unique one even on the first time home buyer track side of town! My point is, RE has a style easy for an experienced agent to tell when she walks in what year it was built, what builder built it, generally speaking, and we try to "stay in the safety zone" a lot around here because of a certain general appeal we want when we resale. All completely reasonable and just it is what it is. All that said, go to another state (gosh, now I know you can just go to another part of town or a different pricepoint...) and you get a whole new world! And it's exciting to see unique things! Especially when you have a passion for things like real estate, even as a young kid, and memories about real estate notes. As I looked around and realized how different this California world really was for me, Madonna played on the radio and the memories that spring break as a child were kind-of larger than life. Unique. A special treat!

Now it's about 25 years later... the Michael Jackson Immortal Cirque De Soleil show was in Dallas and I couldn't pass it up... spent part of a closing commission to see it front row. Loads of memories. Literally of all the Disney rides and ET experiences at Universal that spring break as a kid, one of the most vivid memories was simply the cab ride from the airport hearing Man in the Mirror on the radio for the first time. I remember asking the cabbie if he could play it again and he said, "I wish, little mama. That's a good one, isn't it?!" Yip. It is.

This weekend Madonna is in concert here in Dallas Saturday 10.20.12 and Sunday 10.21.12. I. Can't. Wait! If you want to go, I have extra tickets! Give me a call! 817-422-3322. Let's enjoy the Material Girl all over again and this time write the whole thing off! Madonna. The good seats. Meals and entertainment on the books for Uncle Sam to kiss away. This real estate girl's dream ticket!
