Part of the definition for prospecting is chances or expectation of success. When prospecting, you are increasing your chances of more business by reaching out for potential buyer and seller clients. While there are no guarantees, prospecting yields positive results and is a lot like fishing...

You MUST:

·     Be patient

·     Be prepared

·     Be consistent

·     Be persistent

·     Follow through

·     Know your limits

·     Have realistic expectations

·     Make sure your message is clear

·     Be prepared to lose a few...

·     And to catch & release a few as well!

 

Now, get prospecting! And then go fishing! Or go fishing and then start prospecting! You make the call, it's up to you, you know?

Wanda, a very peaceful photo, but prospecting can be tough as it requires breaking out and attempting to get people to hear and notice you and listen to what you are offering

Ed, Prospecting can be challenging I agree but also can be monthly newsletters, handing out cards, attending community events. I am not a good cold caller so implement other methods to gain business.
