I lived in Nevada Trails. Is the market getting a bit more stable yet? We left in 2006. I worry about Vegas. It just grew to fast with not a lot of quality Realtors. I still refer to the area quite often but did just shut my site down.
Yes, I agree with you on the too many agents! These are the times when a lot will be weeded out. There are also many who just follow the money from state to state and then leave the minute it gets tough. Also, there were sooo many scams that happened here and in Cali and that is having a huge impact on the market and perception.
Right now we have about a 2 year supply of homes... There are still a lot of sellers that are "testing" the water and unfortunately due to that it is also creating a glutteny of homes for sale.
If you ever want to send me a referral that would be great will do the same for you. Also, my brother is an agent in Austin if you need someone there.
